Zio prudenziati's Albatros D.V in 1/148 (British N-scale) [link]
The model is supposed to be just a simple wargaming stuff, but i got a lil' bit carried away with this
the fuel line and exhaust were made from 0,5 mm wire and the rigging, which took ages to build, made from even thinner wire
Just additional info, this D.V was flown by Lt. Hans-joachim von hippel, commanding officer of jagdstaffel (jasta) 5. Von Hippel survived both great war, and was still giving interviews in the 1970s. He is at least as famous for flying the DV marked with the fire breathing dragon (this model) as he is for flying his pair of Blitz marked D.Va machines, one with lozenge camo wings and the other with green/mauve. His hair raising combat of February 18, 1918, in which the dragon lost a lower wing, is widely known and resulted in a unique photo of the crashed DV, upside down but apparently otherwise intact.
