Dassault-breguet super etendard by Rajaahsani Dassault-breguet super etendard by Rajaahsani
Dassault-breguet super etendard of 2a Escuadrilla Aeronaval de Caza y Ataque, Armada Argentina (Argentine navy). This aircraft (3-A-203), flown by captain Cesar Augusto Bedacarratz, sank British type-42 guided missile destroyer HMS Sheffield during the Falklands war with its AM.39 Exocet

Out-of-box Flymodel kit, scaled down 50%,printed on 120 gsm paper. nicely curved clear canopy made with thermoforming some transparency sheet

EDIT: Oh, i forgot to say that the kit (Flymodel Nr. 051) actually also includes British Sea harrier FRS.1, but my kit missing most of its parts and scratchbuilding them is not a very good option, so.. sadly there would be no harrier to accompany my super etendard... :(

Remarkable, and very nice model.
Great work with the canopy shaping. I'm regularly experiencing troubles in this phase. (how you manage to heat-up the sheet without getting burnt, and what more- how to stretch the sheet???)
So its around 1:66 scale, right? I'm scaling the models too :) Saves-up the cartridge and paper supply.

i usually use hairdryer to heat the plastic, not really hot but sufficient enough to 'soften' the plastic.
hope this help ;)

Well, guess it's good sheet material you've worked with than.
Since I've already tried the hairdryer, but the sheet was barely warm enough to bend, but little to copy the shape of "master". Only me fingers were hurt from heat.
Are you wielding the sheet during heating with bare hands??

Nice!
I thought I was the only person who'd ever heard of this plane.
And that was in a book about planes I had when I was 2 (a very nice book still when I last saw it 7 years ago.)

Great model. At first I thought you used colored paper, nice work painting the edges and keeping a rounded shape, looks really good.
